Quetta: Two Youths Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces

Two young men have been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Quetta, the capital city of Balochistan.

According to details, on May 17, 2025, Muhammad Yahya, a resident of Killi Shah Nawaz, was detained from his home by personnel of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and taken to an undisclosed location. In a separate incident on May 15, Bashir Marri was picked up by Pakistani intelligence agents from the Hazar Ganji area and subsequently disappeared.

The families of both victims have appealed to human rights organizations and political parties to take immediate action for their safe recovery and to raise their voices against these extrajudicial arrests.
