Turbat: Enforced Disappearance of Young Shahjan Qadir Dad, Family Appeals for Safe Recovery

Turbat – A 22-year-old youth, Shahjan son of Qadir Dad, a resident of Bandi Bazaar in the Aapsar area of Turbat, was forcibly disappeared on the evening of April 14, 2025, during Maghrib prayers from Yaqub Mohalla, Aapsar. Since the incident, there has been no information about his whereabouts, leaving his family in a state of deep distress.

Shahjan’s family has appealed to senior authorities, human rights organizations, and relevant forums to take immediate and serious action for his recovery. They stated that Shahjan is a peaceful citizen and that his enforced disappearance has caused immense mental anguish to the entire family.

They further emphasized that if there are any allegations against Shahjan, he should be produced in court. Disappearing someone without due process is a grave violation of basic human rights, the family added, vowing to continue raising their voice peacefully until their loved one is safely returned.
