BLF Claims Responsibility for Attacks on Pakistani Forces in Kolwah and Jhao, Police Post Seizure in Turbat, and Assaults on Mineral Transport Vehicles in Wadh

The spokesperson of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), Major Gwahram Baloch, issued a statement to the media claiming responsibility for multiple recent attacks across different regions of Balochistan.

According to the statement, on May 15, 2025, at around 9 a.m., BLF fighters targeted an armored vehicle of Pakistani forces in the Badrang area of Kolwah with an IED explosion. The fighters, who had taken positions in advance, launched a subsequent attack on the remaining vehicles and personnel in the convoy. As a result, the armored vehicle was completely destroyed and all personnel on board were killed, while the rest of the convoy also sustained casualties and damage.

He added that the BLF fighters recorded video footage of the attack, which will soon be published by the group’s media cell, Ashob.

The spokesperson further said that on the evening of May 14, at approximately 7 p.m., BLF fighters attacked a Pakistani military post in the Sear area of Jhao. The post was struck with multiple RPG rounds and heavy weaponry, reportedly causing casualties among the stationed forces.

In another incident on May 15 at 5 a.m., BLF fighters surrounded a police post in the Jussak area of Turbat. The fighters confiscated all government-issued weapons and supplies from the post. The police personnel were released with a warning, while the post and other official documents were set on fire.

Additionally, on the same day at around 3 p.m., BLF fighters attacked two trucks transporting minerals in the Waher area of Wadh. The vehicles were damaged, and the drivers were released after being warned.

In its statement, the BLF formally claimed responsibility for the operations in Kolwah, Jhao, Turbat, and Wadh, and issued a stern warning to all vehicle owners involved in transporting minerals from Balochistan. The group stated that any such involvement in the future would be met with strict consequences.

The BLF reiterated its commitment to continue its operations against the occupying forces and security institutions until the complete liberation of Balochistan.
