Balochistan: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks targeting Pakistani military convoys and vehicles assisting military operations in various regions of Balochistan, including Mashkay, Kolwah, Parom, and Gomazi.
In a statement issued to the media, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch stated that BLF fighters carried out an IED attack this morning at around 8:30 AM in the Khandari area of Mashkay. The target was a truck belonging to a construction company that was part of a security convoy departing from a military camp. The blast caused severe damage to the truck and inflicted casualties.
According to the BLF, the construction company operates under the protection of the Pakistani military and its employees are based within the military camp. The attack, as per the spokesperson, was meant as a warning to the company for collaborating with occupying forces.
In a separate incident, BLF fighters seized a vehicle transporting rations to a military checkpoint in the Gomazi area of Tump around 9:00 AM. The vehicle was taken into their custody.
Later in the day, around 4:30 PM, BLF fighters attacked a Pakistani military camp in Kolwah’s Badrang area, reportedly causing both human and material losses.
Additionally, on May 6, 2025, at approximately 4:00 PM, BLF fighters intercepted a truck carrying construction supplies intended for a military camp in the Join area of Parom. After inspecting the vehicle, the fighters destroyed it along with the military equipment it carried.
The BLF spokesperson reiterated previous warnings issued to transporters and construction companies against facilitating the Pakistani military. “We have repeatedly warned against supporting the occupying forces. Today’s actions are a continuation of that warning. Those who assist the enemy should be prepared to bear the consequences,” the statement read.
The BLF has firmly claimed responsibility for all the aforementioned attacks and warned vehicle owners and contractors to cease aiding the Pakistani military or face further consequences.
