In the Sorab Katayi (Batgo) area of Balochistan, unidentified armed assailants opened fire on the vehicle of Naib Rahim Bakhsh Jamal Zai Zehri, a close associate of former puppet Chief Minister of Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri.
According to sources, the shooting resulted in severe injuries to Naib Rahim Bakhsh, while four other individuals accompanying him were also wounded. The injured were transferred to a nearby hospital for initial medical treatment, and due to Naib Rahim Bakhsh’s critical condition, he was referred to Khuzdar.
Police sources stated that an investigation into the incident is ongoing, but the motives behind the attack are still unclear.
