Wadh: Security Personnel Injured in Passenger’s Gunfire at Checkpost

A security personnel was injured when a passenger opened fire during a routine inspection at the Bara Lak checkpost in the Wadh area of Khuzdar district, Balochistan.

According to local sources, it has become a daily routine for security forces to stop passenger coaches for extended periods at the checkpost, causing growing frustration among travelers. During one such inspection, a passenger aboard a coach opened fire, injuring a security official.

The coach fled the scene immediately after the incident. However, it was later intercepted at the Nami checkpost, where security forces reportedly took the coach into custody and arrested the individual responsible for the shooting.
