In Awaran, armed individuals set up a roadblock for twelve hours, thoroughly searching vehicles and addressing the public about the Baloch freedom movement.
According to sources, the armed men established the checkpoint on the Mashkay Road between Peerandar and Kenerah from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM today. They checked the identification cards of incoming and outgoing passengers and later briefed them on the ongoing struggle for Baloch independence.
During the blockade, vehicles involved in road construction were also stopped and warned by the armed men. However, no harm was done to the drivers or the vehicles.
Local sources believe the individuals were pro-independence Baloch fighters, but no group has claimed responsibility for the action so far.
