Baloch student organizations convened a historic and crucial meeting to collectively demand the safe recovery of Javed Baloch, the central chairman of the Baloch Students Front (BSF). Hosted by the BSF, the meeting was attended by representatives from the Baloch Students Action Committee (BSAC), BSO, BSO Pajjar, and another faction of BSO.
During the meeting, representatives strongly condemned the enforced disappearance of Javed Baloch, labeling it as an undemocratic and unconstitutional act by the state.
The student groups unanimously decided to launch a united and organized movement under the banner of the “Baloch Students Alliance” for the recovery of Javed Baloch. They stated that the extrajudicial arrest and enforced disappearance of the BSF chairman raise serious questions about the credibility of the country’s Supreme Court and High Courts. They emphasized that a coordinated struggle will be carried out across all fronts to oppose this unconstitutional act.
Present at the meeting were the chairman of BSO, the general secretary of BSO Pajjar, the information secretary of BSO, and a central committee member of BSAC. The participants passionately shared their perspectives, displaying wisdom and determination that, according to attendees, will serve as a guiding light for the movement.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was stressed that the struggle for Javed Baloch’s recovery is not merely about one individual but represents the fight for freedom of expression, protection of human rights, and preservation of collective consciousness. The representatives of the Baloch Students Alliance pledged to sustain a strong and relentless movement until Javed Baloch is safely recovered.
