Baloch freedom leader and Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Dr. Naseem Baloch, in a statement, said that we strongly condemn the brutal terrorist attack in Kashmir, which resulted in the loss of over 25 innocent lives.
He stated that targeting tourists is the height of cowardice, with the purpose of spreading fear and destroying peace and harmony in the region.
He added that the timing of this incident says a lot. The massacre occurred at a time when Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir once again reiterated the outdated and divisive “two-nation theory” a theory that has historically fueled extremism, hatred, and cross-border violence.
He emphasized that this is not mere coincidence but a continuation. Whenever Pakistan symbolically or verbally raises the Kashmir issue, blood is shed on the ground.
Dr. Naseem Baloch further said that the world has seen this scenario before, individuals from Pakistan are killed or arrested in Kashmir, and evidence of Pakistan’s involvement in terrorism can be found from Iran to Afghanistan and Balochistan. Pakistan’s military establishment continues to use proxy terrorism as a tool of its foreign policy, which is putting the entire region’s peace and stability at risk.
He concluded by saying that we stand with the victims and the Kashmiri people. This attack should be condemned internationally, and Pakistan should be held accountable for sponsoring terrorism.
