In the Ornach area of Khuzdar district, Balochistan, armed operatives of a death squad raided a house last night.
According to sources, the attackers tried to abduct a young man present in the house, but were unsuccessful due to strong resistance from the family members.
During the confrontation, the attackers opened indiscriminate fire, and as a result, one of their own was associates killed on the spot by friendly fire.
After the incident, the other assailants fled the scene.
