Khuzdar: An armed group launched a fierce attack on a police station in Wadh, a tehsil in Khuzdar district, Balochistan, triggering intense clashes and widespread panic in the area.
According to reports, the assailants, equipped with heavy weapons, launched a sudden assault on the police station, leading to an exchange of fire.
Following the attack, Frontier Corps (FC) and Levies personnel were dispatched to assist the police. However, as reinforcements arrived, the attackers targeted them as well, escalating the clashes further.
So far, no confirmed details have emerged regarding casualties or damage. However, the situation remains highly tense, with additional security forces deployed to the area.
Authorities have stated that an investigation is underway to identify the attackers and determine the motive behind the assault. Meanwhile, security has been placed on high alert.
