Baloch Yakjehti Committee leader Dr. Sabiha Baloch wrote on X that the sit-in in Quetta has once again been sabotaged. She stated that police are continuously firing and shelling, making it difficult to see anything due to the smoke, while the number of injured remains unknown. The crowd has dispersed, and some masked individuals in civilian clothing are setting shops on fire and firing shots.
So far, reports indicate that one person has been injured in the firing.
BYC leader Sibtullah Shah Ji stated that armed government personnel in plain clothes are also present among the protesters and are firing shots. He warned that this dangerous game by the state will ultimately be harmful to itself and urged authorities not to test the patience of the nation.
