Baloch pro-independence leader Raheem Baloch Advocate posted on X that Pakistan’s growing desperation is evident as the Baloch independence movement gains momentum and public support in occupied Balochistan.
He said that recent incidents, including raids on the homes of human rights activist Bebagr Baloch, his brother Dr. Hammal Baloch, Bolan Medical College’s Vice Principal and renowned psychiatrist Dr. Waja Ilyas Baloch, the violation of privacy and sanctity of homes, enforced disappearances and the obstruction of identification of victims killed in fake military operations expose the oppressive nature of the Pakistani state. Additionally, the violent crackdown on protesting women outside Civil Hospital, including the brutal arrest of Saeeda Baloch and others, further demonstrates Pakistan’s growing panic. According to him, the state is unable to differentiate between Baloch resistance fighters and ordinary civilians and this brutality is exposing its colonial mindset.
He added that Pakistan’s state terrorism in occupied Balochistan proves the universal truth that oppressors never learn from history. He asserted that if military force and oppression could keep a nation subjugated against its will, Bangladesh would not exist today, and Africa, America, Asia and Australia would still be under European colonial rule.
Quoting the late Baloch national leader Sardar Khair Bakhsh Marri, he recalled his famous words:
“We can live with a pig, but not with a Punjabi.”
Raheem Baloch stated that the brutality and moral decay of the Punjabi ruling elite and military are proving every word of Sardar Khair Bakhsh Marri to be true.
