Bolan – The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has released a statement claiming the execution of all 214 hostages held during their recent operation in the Darra-e-Bolan region. The BLA asserts that this action follows the expiration of a 48-hour ultimatum given to the Pakistani military for a prisoner exchange.
According to Jeeyand Baloch, spokesperson for the BLA, the Pakistani military “displayed its traditional stubbornness and military arrogance,” refusing to engage in serious negotiations. “As a result of this stubbornness, all 214 hostages have been executed,” the statement declared.
The BLA claims to have acted “in accordance with the principles of war and international law,” while accusing the Pakistani state of using its personnel as “fuel for war.” The statement details a complex operation involving the capture of hostages, some of whom were reportedly locked in bogies of the Jaffar Express train.
The BLA alleges that when the Pakistani Special Services Group (SSG) Zarar Company attempted a rescue operation, they were ambushed, suffering heavy casualties, and the remaining hostages were executed. The BLA also reported the deaths of 12 of their own fighters, including five members of the Majeed Brigade who they described as “Fidayeen” (self-sacrificing fighters).
The statement alleges that these fighters “fought till the last bullet,” ultimately taking their own lives. The BLA disputes claims by the Pakistani military that some hostages were rescued, asserting that those released were granted safe passage on the first day of the operation, in accordance with the rules of war.
The statement further alleges that the Pakistani military is attempting to portray the bodies of the deceased BLA fighters as a “success.”

“This battle is not over yet but has intensified,” stated the BLA spokesperson, claiming ongoing ambushes and attacks against the Pakistani military. The BLA says that they will release further details of “Operation Darra-e-Bolan” upon its completion.
