Mastung and Wadh: Highways Reopened After Successful Negotiations

Mastung (Monitoring Desk)
The families of individuals forcibly disappeared by the occupying Pakistani forces in Mastung, along with the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC), announced an end to their sit-in after successful negotiations with the local administration. The protest, which had been ongoing for the past nine days, was called off, and the Quetta-Taftan highway was reopened for all traffic.

Meanwhile, in Wadh, successful negotiations were also held between Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Akhtar Mengal and the local administration. As a result, the ongoing strike in Wadh was called off. However, the Balochistan National party has issued a deadline until tomorrow, stating that if the FIRs are not withdrawn, the highway will be blocked again.
