In Nall, Khuzdar, an attempt was made to target Samad Smalani, a key operative of the Pakistan-backed death squad. The explosion resulted in the deaths of two individuals and injuries to seven others, including Samad Smalani, who was wounded in the attack.
According to sources, Samad Smalani is considered a key member of the state-backed death squad, allegedly involved in the enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings of Baloch youth.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
