The surge in enforced disappearances of Baloch youth continues. Dr. Shalee Baloch

Dr. Shalee Baloch shared on X (Twitter),The enforced disappearances of Baloch youth continue at an alarming rate, leaving behind a trail of sorrow, anguish, and uncertainty. Two more Baloch youths have fallen victim to this heinous crime.

She said that Yasir Baloch, a media science student at Benazir University Lyari, was abducted by security forces on February 25 while returning home to Malir from Gulshan-i-Iqbal, Karachi.

Meanwhile, Sabir Ali, a resident of Greshag (Khuzdar), was forcibly disappeared from Lyari, Karachi, where he was receiving medical treatment.

Their families remain in complete darkness about their whereabouts. The enforced disappearances of Baloch youth have become a devastating norm a routine that shatters lives and an endless nightmare that haunts families.

Despite continuous appeals, state institutions refuse to put an end to this unconstitutional practice. International human rights organizations must take urgent action and hold Pakistan accountable for its systematic policy of enforced disappearances against the Baloch.
