According to a statement released by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the Balochistan Liberation Front pays tribute to its fallen comrades, reaffirming its unwavering commitment to the struggle for national freedom.
He emphasized that on February 21, 2025, two dedicated organizational members and freedom fighters, Sakhi Bakhsh alias Qandeel and Balach alias Aslam, were martyred during an armed confrontation with Pakistani forces and their allied militia (Death Squad) in the Teertej area of Awaran while on an organizational mission.
Major Gwahram Baloch further stated that Sakhi Bakhsh alias Qandeel Baloch, son of Ali Bakhsh Baloch and a resident of Teertej, Awaran, joined the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) in 2023. Throughout his time in the movement, he actively participated in multiple battles across Balochistan, playing a significant role in the struggle. Beyond his contributions on the battlefield, Sakhi Baloch was also a young poet and essayist, who beautifully portrayed the bravery of martyrs and the natural beauty of Balochistan through his poetry and writings.
Martyr Balach alias Aslam, son of Ali Bakhsh, hailed from Greshag, Khuzdar, and joined the BLF in 2024. Though a student, he became ideologically aware of the Baloch national struggle and chose to take up arms for the cause. He participated in several major battles in Awaran and Kolwah, demonstrating unwavering dedication to the movement.
Both fighters were martyred in a clash against the Pakistani army’s Death Squad, led by Aurangzeb Bizenjo, a group operating under the Baloch genocide program. During the confrontation, multiple members of the Death Squad, including a key operative, Shabeer (Bedi Wala), were wounded. The squad had full backing from the occupying forces in this battle.
The BLF calls upon the people of Awaran and Kolwah to distance themselves from Aurangzeb Bizenjo and all individuals collaborating in the Baloch genocide.
The Balochistan Liberation Front vowed to continue the mission of its fallen comrades until the ultimate goal of a free Balochistan is achieved.
