The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for multiple attacks on Pakistani forces in Kohlu and Bolan districts of Balochistan, resulting in the elimination of three army personnel, including a junior officer, and injuries to seven others.
In a statement released on Saturday, January 25th, BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch detailed the attacks. The first incident occurred at 8 PM in the Noy-e-Sham area of Kohlu, where BLF fighters targeted an FC checkpoint using heavy weaponry. Two FC personnel, Lance Naik Rahib Hussain and another reportedly from Kashmir, were killed.Following the attack, BLF fighters also neutralized surveillance drones deployed by the Pakistani forces. Subsequent arrival of local Death Squad members to assist the forces led to further casualties, with four Death Squad personnel sustaining injuries.
The second attack took place between 11:30 PM and 12:00 AM on the Quetta-Sibi Highway in the Aap Gum area of Bolan. BLF fighters engaged a Pakistani checkpoint for approximately 30 minutes, utilizing modern heavy and automatic weapons. One enemy personnel was eliminated, and three others were wounded.
The BLF statement highlighted the increasing demoralization and mental stress within the occupying forces, often leading to attempts to conceal casualties. It also condemned the retaliatory violence against civilians by the Pakistani forces.
The BLF reaffirmed its commitment to targeting occupying forces and their collaborators until an independent Balochistan is achieved.
