SIBI, BALOCHISTAN: A roadblock and snap checkpoints were set up on the main highway between Sibi and Bakhtiar Abad in Balochistan on Monday morning, with vehicles in the area searched, according to a claim issued by the Baloch Republican Guards (BRG).
The group said no state security personnel or government officials were present in the area at the time and that no vehicles carrying Balochistan’s mineral resources bound for Punjab passed through during the search.
BRG claimed responsibility for the roadblock in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Dostain Baloch, adding that such actions would continue until “Balochistan’s independence”.
