KALAT, BALOCHISTAN: Armed Baloch men and women seize Mangochar, clash with Pakistani forces as fighting continues
Sources say a blockade is ongoing at various points across the town, while reports of clashes with the military have also been received.
According to reports, control of the area remains with armed Baloch men and women, with patrolling, roadblocks and road closures reported at multiple locations. Local sources say a BLF flag was seen accompanying the Baloch men and women as they entered the town.
Sources claim the operation may be linked to BLF’s newly formed women’s unit, “KAAD.” However, no group has claimed responsibility, and no official statement has been issued.
Reports have emerged that armed Baloch men and women in Mangochar destroyed three military vehicles, including an armoured personnel carrier, belonging to the Pakistani military.
According to sources, clashes are still ongoing in the area and claims are being made that some parts of Mangochar are under the control of Baloch separatist fighters.
