PISHIN, BALOCHISTAN: Jeeyand Baloch, spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), said in a statement issued to media that BLA fighters today gained complete control of Saranan city in Pishin, seizing the police station, NADRA office, and other government buildings.
According to the statement, police personnel were taken into custody during the operation and later released. After seizing a large quantity of weapons and ammunition from the police station, the building was destroyed in an explosion.
The spokesperson said the BLA claims responsibility for the operation, adding that further details would be released to the media soon.
