
QUETTA: The protest camp organized by the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) against enforced disappearances, set up outside the Quetta Press Club, continued for its 6,330th consecutive day.
Former Baloch Students Organization chairman (BSO) Mehim Khan Baloch and prominent journalist Amanullah Shadeenzai visited the camp on the occasion, registered their protest against enforced disappearances and expressed solidarity with the families of missing persons.
They voiced concern over the continued non-recovery of missing persons, enforced disappearances and extrajudicial actions, saying that families of the missing have faced prolonged suffering and uncertainty.
They called on the government to take immediate and practical steps to ensure the recovery of all missing persons, to have them presented before courts of law in accordance with due process, and to fully put an end to enforced disappearances.
