
MASTUNG, BALOCHISTAN: Firing by unidentified individuals in Mastung Bazaar caused widespread fear and panic among the public, with a wave of concern spreading among residents and shopkeepers following the incident.
In a separate incident, a Pakistani military quadcopter strike hit orchards in the Sharifabad area of Khadkocha, Mastung, killing Habibullah, a resident of Larkana who was working there at the time.
It’s noteworthy that in Sorab district’s Gidar Gondan area, Pakistani jet aircraft reportedly bombed the area on the morning of August 12. According to public sources, around 27 people were killed or injured in the strike, with more than twenty of the dead said to include women and children.
Following the incident, victims’ relatives staged a protest on the Quetta-Karachi main highway alongside the bodies. Baloch nationalist parties and human rights organizations have strongly condemned the incident.
