
QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: Multiple armed attacks were reported across Balochistan on the evening of August 13, targeting security force installations and infrastructure.
According to Zrumbesh sources, Baloch fighters attacked the FC (Frontier Corps) headquarters in Kharan at around 7:00 PM, with explosions accompanied by heavy gunfire heard in the area. Around 8:00 PM the same evening, in a separate attack, Baloch fighters also targeted the Military Intelligence (MI) office in Kharan. A series of five explosions in succession reportedly shook the entire area.
In the Gomazi area of Tump, armed men attacked a Pakistani forces’ checkpost reportedly established at the residence of BLF fighter Captain Jahangir, who was martyred in earlier fighting using rockets and heavy weapons at around 8:20 PM. According to Zrumbesh sources, Pakistani forces suffered casualties and losses in the attack.
A bridge on the Bolan-Dhadar National Highway (N-65) was destroyed in an explosion at Kambari, temporarily suspending traffic flow.
No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
