QUETTA, BALOCHISTAN: The Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) protest camp against enforced disappearances continued in Quetta for the 6,301st consecutive day.
Advocate Khalida Baloch and Advocate Ehsan Baloch visited the camp and expressed solidarity with the families of missing persons.
They demanded an end to enforced disappearances in Balochistan and called for the immediate and safe recovery of all missing persons.
Voice for Baloch Missing Persons (VBMP) is one of the most prominent human rights organizations documenting enforced disappearances in Balochistan. Founded by families of missing persons, the organization has been staging continuous sit-ins and protest camps for years, demanding the safe recovery of their loved ones.
The organization has recorded thousands of cases of enforced disappearances in Balochistan, many of which families claim were carried out by Pakistani security forces including FC and CTD personnel.
Human rights organizations both domestically and internationally have repeatedly called on Pakistani authorities to independently investigate these cases and ensure accountability.
