Baloch Armed Group Detains FC Personnel, Strikes Military Convoy in Khuzdar

KHUZDAR, BALOCHISTAN: A Pakistani Frontier Corps (FC) personnel has been detained and a military convoy attacked by an armed Baloch group in the Khuzdar district of Balochistan.

According to initial reports, armed individuals established checkpoints on the Balochistan-Sindh main highway (N-25) near the Ornach area of Khuzdar. During the checkpoint operation, an FC personnel was identified and taken into custody.

In a separate but related incident, a military convoy and a Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) site were targeted in the Wadh area of Khuzdar district.

No casualty figures have been confirmed at this stage. Pakistani authorities have yet to issue an official statement regarding either incident, and no armed group has claimed responsibility so far.
