BALOCHISTAN: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for four separate operations carried out across Balochistan between May 6 and May 10, 2026, resulting in the killing of seven Pakistani military personnel, injuries to several others, seizure of weapons and destruction of a communications tower, according to a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch.

In the first operation on May 10, 2026, BLF fighters ambushed a Pakistani military convoy on the RCD Highway in the Bencha area of Surab, using rocket launchers, small machine guns and automatic weapons as the convoy was moving between camps. The statement said five military personnel were killed and four injured, with both targeted vehicles completely destroyed. The statement further said that when reinforcement troops advanced from the Benicha checkpoint to assist the convoy, pre-positioned BLF fighters attacked the reinforcing units as well, causing additional casualties and material losses.

The statement claimed two personnel were killed on the spot and three others injured in the attack.

In the third operation on May 7, 2026, BLF fighters destroyed a communications tower equipped with surveillance and monitoring devices in the Malaar Dhamb area of Kolwah and set its machinery ablaze.
