QUETTA: BLF Claims Multiple Attacks on Military and Police Targets in Khuzdar, Nushki and Kharan
According to spokesperson Major Gwharam Baloch, Fighters of the Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) carried out a series of coordinated attacks against Pakistani military and police forces across several districts in Balochistan.
On April 25, BLF fighters ambushed a military convoy in the Zawa area of Khuzdar using a pre-planted remote-controlled improvised explosive device (IED). The blast destroyed a military vehicle, killing two personnel instantly and seriously wounding two others.
Earlier, on April 24, BLF operatives attacked the police station in the Mall area of Nushki. They seized control of the facility and destroyed communication equipment. Although police personnel were warned to avoid resistance, an officer was wounded during a brief clash.
On the same day, BLF fighters targeted the Pakistani Army headquarters in Kharan city with grenade launchers, causing casualties and material damage to the enemy forces.
Additionally, on April 23, BLF imposed a three-hour blockade on the main Quetta-Karachi highway at the Zawa area in Khuzdar. Fighters conducted vehicle searches and strict monitoring to identify military personnel, informants, and supply elements disguised as civilians, asserting control over the area.
Major Gwahram Baloch, the BLF spokesperson, claimed responsibility for all these operations, emphasizing the group’s ongoing campaign against state security forces in the region.
