Another Mining Company Attacked in Balochistan; Heavy Machinery Set on Fire

QUETTA: The series of attacks on mineral exploration companies in Balochistan has escalated again within two days.

According to sources, In the night between Wednesday and Thursday, armed men attacked the site of a company engaged in oil and gas exploration in the Hanna Orak area of Quetta, the provincial capital of Balochistan. They set heavy machinery and vehicles on fire, destroying them.

No casualties have been reported in the incident.

It is noteworthy that in just 24 hours, mining companies have come under attack by armed men in Balochistan. Yesterday, in Chagai district, a company site was attacked, and at least 10 people were killed, including three Frontier Corps (FC) personnel and one foreign national from Turkey, while several others were injured.
