
QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has released its March 2026 operational report, claiming that its fighters carried out 39 operations across multiple areas of Balochistan, resulting in casualties, targeted attacks on military installations and the seizure or destruction of weapons and equipment.
According to the statement attributed to Major Gwahram Baloch, spokesperson of the Balochistan Liberation Front, the operations were conducted across more than 23 locations including Panjgur, Pasni, Kohlu, Turbat, Hoshab, Khuzdar, Besima, Hub, Jhao, Hironk, Tump, Naal, Gwadar, Tejaban, Chagai, Washuk, Mand, Mastung, Barkhan, Kalat, Shahrak, Malaar and Gishkour.
In its report, the BLF claimed that its operations resulted in the deaths of 30 personnel and injuries to seven others. It further stated that its most significant operation during the month took place in the Apsi Kahn area of Tump, where coordinated attacks were carried out on multiple posts, along with the claimed destruction of a surveillance drone. The group stated that 15 personnel were killed in that specific operation.
The report also mentioned intelligence-based operations in which the group claimed to have targeted and killed 12 individuals described as collaborators. According to the statement, these individuals were involved in surveillance activities and enforced disappearances.
Additionally, the BLF claimed that it targeted surveillance infrastructure, including the destruction of three drones and two surveillance cameras, and that one intelligence office was also attacked and damaged.
The group further stated that coordinated attacks were carried out on 15 military check-posts and five military camps. It also claimed to have imposed blockades at five locations to disrupt supply routes and targeted a mining company involved in resource extraction activities. According to the report, six military vehicles and two vehicles transporting minerals were destroyed.
In terms of weaponry, the BLF said its fighters used heavy weapons in 11 attacks, along with grenade launchers, hand grenades, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), sniper fire, and direct engagements. It also claimed that weapons were seized from opposing forces during these operations.
The report added that nine BLF fighters were killed during the operations, referring to them as martyrs and stating that they sacrificed their lives in the course of their activities.
