QUETTA: Former Chairman of the Baloch National Movement (BNM), Khalil Baloch, in a statement said that the present moment calls for reflection, urging intensified efforts in the ongoing struggle against 78 years of occupation and emphasizing the need for unity and national cohesion across all fronts against the adversary to achieve collective goals.
Khalil Baloch stated that it is a success of the Baloch nation that, despite facing an unnatural state and a brutal adversary, it has remained steadfast in its collective goals, historical identity and stance on national freedom. He added that the Baloch national resistance and sense of self-awareness are currently passing through a dignified phase. While there may be minor differences and grievances among various segments of the movement, all remain united on the national position.
The Former BNM leader stressed that achieving national freedom requires unity, closeness and coordination across all fronts of the movement. He noted that when the objective is shared, differences can be transformed into strength. Unity, he said, emerges through harmony and when organizations, parties and groups with differing viewpoints stand together for a larger cause, it reflects political maturity rather than weakness and strengthens the foundation of any struggle.
He further remarked that the success of any political movement depends on clearly defined objectives, organization and a well-structured political strategy. National unity becomes stronger when leadership fosters collective trust and aligns the struggle with the principles of political dialogue. This, he added, not only reinforces the moral foundation of the movement but also encourages the international community to take its narrative more seriously.
