
QUETTA: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks targeting Pakistani military positions in the Mand and Heronk areas of Kech, Balochistan.
In a statement issued by the group’s spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the attacks were carried out on March 16, 2026, by BLF fighters against Pakistani Army posts in different locations of Kech.
According to the statement, BLF fighters first targeted a Pakistani Army post in the Redheg area of Mand using a grenade launcher. The group claimed that the attack caused human and material losses to the Pakistani forces.
Later the same day, another attack was carried out on a Pakistani Army post in the Soro area of Mand, where BLF fighters fired grenade launcher shells at the position. The spokesperson claimed that the attack inflicted significant casualties and heavy material damage on the forces stationed there.
In a separate operation on March 16, BLF fighters also targeted a Pakistani Army post established along the CPEC road in the Heronk area of Kech. According to the statement, the attack was carried out with heavy and automatic weapons, resulting in casualties and material losses for the Pakistani Army.
The Balochistan Liberation Front, through its spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, formally claimed responsibility for the attacks on Pakistani military posts in Mand and Heronk.
