Kech: Body Recovered from River Identified as Disappeared Man Imran

Turbat: One of the two bodies recovered from the Kech River in Turbat has been identified as a previously disappeared man, Imran son of Taj Muhammad, a resident of Pedarak.

According to sources, Imran was reportedly forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces on June 25, 2025

Police officials stated that a national identity card was found in the victim’s pocket, which helped confirm his identity. The two bodies were discovered earlier in the day in the Kech Kor area of Turbat and were shifted to the Teaching Hospital Turbat for necessary legal formalities.

Authorities said the bodies bore bullet wounds. Efforts are still underway to determine the identity of the second deceased individual.
