QUETTA: A separatist armed organization has been releasing videos of attacks carried out across various districts of Balochistan, including Noshki.
Noshki remained in a state of uncertainty on Tuesday, with schools and government offices closed. Authorities, however, claimed that a security operation against BLA militants is ongoing in the area.
The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) launched a series of attacks and territorial takeovers across Balochistan last week under what it calls Operation Herof. According to the group, Noshki has remained under its control for the past week.
During this period, the organization released multiple videos from Noshki showing its fighters targeting Pakistani security forces, the intelligence agency ISI, police, and other government institutions.
In its latest documentary video released on the group’s official channel “Hakkal,” BLA militants can be seen attacking a police station, destroying Pakistani flags and official documents.
The footage also shows militants seizing a large quantity of government weapons and equipment, including AK-47 rifles, magazines, and other arms. Additionally, the video depicts attackers breaking open the police station doors and freeing detainees.
Meanwhile, Operation Herof is reportedly continuing in several parts of Balochistan. Noshki is among the districts said to have remained fully under BLA control, with the situation described as highly tense. Residents have taken to social media to appeal for help, stating that routes have been closed and that there is a shortage of food in their localities.
Separately, on Monday in Naal, Khuzdar district, armed men reportedly seized a police station and set official vehicles on fire.
