Turbat: Pakistani forces claim to have killed two armed individuals

In the Josak area along the M-8 highway in Turbat, the main city of Balochistan’s Kech, two people were killed as a result of firing by Pakistani forces’ Frontier Corps (FC).

According to sources, the incident occurred during a routine checking operation at the Josak checkpoint, when the forces attempted to stop a reportedly suspicious vehicle. Sources say that when the vehicle did not stop, FC personnel opened fire, killing both occupants on the spot.

Pakistani forces have claimed that the two individuals were affiliated with an armed organization and that weapons and other materials were recovered from them.

So far, the identities of the deceased have not been confirmed. Further details about the incident are awaited.
