In a statement issued by BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the group said that fighters from its Sado Operational Battalion (SOB) entered the compound late last night and have since maintained “strong defensive positions.” According to the statement, Pakistani security forces launched both ground and aerial operations in an attempt to dislodge the attackers but “failed to regain control.”
