Hub Chowki: Baloch Women Forum organizer Dr. Shalee Baloch has strongly condemned the enforced disappearance of 15-year-old Nasreena Baloch, following a raid by law enforcement agencies in Hub Chowki on the night of 22 November 2025. She shared her statement on Twitter (X), calling the incident a “direct state attack on Baloch societal norms.”
According to Dr. Shalee, security forces conducted an “illegal and unwarranted raid” at a house in the Daaro Hotel area of Hub Chowki and detained Nasreena, a resident of Teertej (Awaran). She stated that the teenage girl was taken to an unknown location and that her family has been denied access. Dr. Shalee added that the girl is not listed in any police station, which, she claims, indicates that she has been forcibly disappeared.
In her statement, Dr. Shalee described the incident as part of a wider pattern of “cultural violence” and said that attacks on Baloch women constitute a threat to the community’s social fabric. She argued that women hold a central role in Baloch society and accused state institutions of undermining these norms.
Calling the situation “deeply alarming,” she criticized what she termed “state barbarism” and urged immediate action. “I urgently demand Nasreena’s immediate and unconditional release,” she wrote, emphasizing that enforced disappearances of Baloch women and girls must end.
