Kech, Balochistan: In a late-night operation around 1 a.m., Pakistani military forces reportedly raided several homes in the Gomazi area of Tump, detaining a young man identified as Jalal, son of Jaleel, who has since been taken to an undisclosed location.
According to local sources, the raid was carried out by a convoy of nearly 10 military vehicles, during which women and children were also harassed. Family members said Jalal was taken from his home and authorities have provided no information regarding his whereabouts or condition.
The family has called on officials to ensure Jalal’s immediate and safe release, expressing concern over the rising number of enforced disappearances in the region.
It is noteworthy that most of the individuals disappeared by Pakistani forces in Balochistan are never recovered, while in many cases, their bullet-riddled bodies are later found. Human rights organizations and members of the public have strongly condemned such actions, calling for justice and accountability.
