Quetta: The Baloch Students Organization (BSO) has strongly condemned the enforced disappearance of Ghani Aman Chandio, Chief Organizer of the Sindh National Students Federation (SNSF), by state forces.
In a statement, the BSO’s chief spokesperson said that state agencies, fearful and unsettled by resistance movements against widespread oppression across the country, are carrying out continuous unconstitutional and brutal attacks on peaceful political activists. In Sindh, as in Balochistan, progressive and peaceful political organizations and activists striving for democratic rights are being targeted by state repression, authoritarianism and retaliatory measures.
The spokesperson emphasized that the BSO considers the enforced disappearance of political activists a direct affront to democratic political processes. The organization condemned such illegal actions and demanded the safe and immediate recovery of Ghani Aman and all other missing persons.
