Kharan: Armed men set fire to a court building in Kharan district of Balochistan and abducted Qazi Muhammad Jan Baloch.
According to reports, a large group of armed individuals surrounded the court premises in Kharan, torched the building and kidnapped Qazi Muhammad Jan Baloch.
It is worth noting that incidents of kidnapping involving senior government officials have seen a rise in Balochistan in recent days. Earlier, the Deputy Commissioner of Tump in Kech district and the Deputy Commissioner of Ziarat, along with his son, were also abducted.
The Balochistan Liberation Front had claimed responsibility for the abduction of the Tump Deputy Commissioner, who was later released, while the Ziarat Deputy Commissioner and his son remain missing.
However, no group has so far claimed responsibility for today’s incident in Kharan.
