Washuk, Balochistan: The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for an attack on Pakistani military forces in the Washuk district, resulting in the deaths of four soldiers and injuries to two others, including an officer.
According to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the organization’s fighters ambushed a convoy of three military vehicles on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route near Patuk in Washuk at around 9 a.m. on Saturday. The convoy was targeted with heavy weapons, causing significant damage.
Major Gwahram Baloch stated that four soldiers were killed instantly, while an officer and another soldier were wounded in the assault. The BLF fighters reportedly retreated safely to their secure positions following the operation.
