Over 50 People Forcibly Disappeared During Military Operation in Mastung and Kolpur

Mastung: Pakistani forces launched a large-scale military operation in the Dasht area of Mastung and the adjoining Kolpur region, cordoning off several localities and raiding homes.

According to local sources, personnel from the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD), intelligence agencies, and police took part in the operation. Security forces entered villages including Killi Jumma Khan, Galli Bangulzai, and Killi Sarpara, where they allegedly subjected residents to violence.

Reports indicate that more than 50 individuals were taken into custody and moved to undisclosed locations. Some families were informed that detainees had been transferred to Quetta jail, though it remains unclear whether all detainees were moved there or if some remain missing.

Affected families accused security forces of ransacking homes, mistreating women and children, and forcibly abducting their loved ones. Further details are still awaited.
