Kalat: Grenade Attack on Pakistani Forces, Two Civilians Injured by Forces’ Firing

In Mungachar, Kalat, unidentified individuals targeted Pakistani security personnel on duty near Johan Cross with a hand grenade attack.

According to Kalat Levies officials, the attackers fled after throwing the grenade, prompting retaliatory fire from the forces.

As a result of the firing, passersby Riaz Ahmed son of Haji Abdul Hayi, Siraj Ahmed son of Abdul Qayyum Nechari and another unidentified person were injured.

Sources reported that several security personnel were also wounded in the grenade attack and were immediately shifted to a nearby hospital.

Following the incident, police and security forces cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the attackers.
