Karachi: Baloch tribal leader Sardar Ali Muhammad Qalandrani said in a message on X that yesterday his son, Sardar Yosuf Qalandrani, was taken into custody by Pakistani forces in Karachi and forcibly disappeared.
Sardar Ali Muhammad stated that this is not the first tragedy his family has faced. Fifteen years ago, three of his sons and more than thirty relatives were forcibly disappeared from Tootak and have not returned to this day.
He said: “Today I am once again forced to live through the same painful nightmare. No father can bear the grief of handing over four sons to enforced disappearance.”
Sardar Ali Muhammad Qalandrani appealed to the media, human rights organizations and all conscientious voices to stand with him and raise their voices for the recovery of his sons and all other missing persons.
