Two Youths Forcibly Disappeared by Pakistani Forces in Kech, Families Block CPEC Route in Protest

Two young men have been forcibly disappeared by Pakistani forces in Balochistan’s Kech.

According to local sources, In the Shahrek area, Pakistani forces reportedly raided a house late at night and detained a youth named Faraz Miyar. He was taken away to an unknown location after soldiers surrounded the neighborhood and searched the house.

Following his disappearance, family members and local residents staged a protest and blocked the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route. The blockade caused major traffic disruption, with long lines of vehicles seen on both sides of the road.

In a separate incident, a student named Aman son of Tahir was allegedly picked up by unidentified armed men accompanying Pakistani forces from outside TMC Hospital in Turbat, the main city of Kech. His whereabouts remain unknown.

Aman’s family has demanded his immediate release, warning that they will protest if he is not recovered soon.
