Kalat: The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has claimed responsibility for an attack on a road construction company operating in the Mangochar area of Kalat district.
According to a statement issued by BLA spokesperson Azad Baloch, the group’s fighters targeted the construction site located in the Door region of Mangochar. The assault reportedly resulted in damage to vehicles and other heavy machinery being used in the roadwork.
“Our freedom fighters carried out a successful attack on June 25 against a company involved in road construction. Several vehicles and equipment were damaged during the operation,” the statement read.
The BLA maintains that such actions are part of their ongoing resistance against what they term “exploitation” of Balochistan’s resources and land by the Pakistani state.
There have been no immediate reports of casualties, and local authorities have yet to issue an official response regarding the incident.
