Gwadar: Armed attack on Pakistani forces, one personnel killed, two injured

In the coastal city of Gwadar, located in Balochistan, unknown gunmen riding in a vehicle attacked Pakistani paramilitary personnel outside a Frontier Corps (FC) checkpoint in the Jiwani area.

According to sources, armed individuals in a Land Cruiser opened fire on three FC personnel standing outside the checkpoint. As a result, one soldier was killed and two were injured. The deceased has been identified as Constable Allah Dad.

Officials have confirmed the attack, stating that Constable Allah Dad was killed and two others sustained injuries. However, there are concerns that the actual number of casualties might be higher, as security forces in the past have allegedly concealed or underreported fatalities.

As of now, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
