Mashkay/Wadh : The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for a series of coordinated attacks on Pakistani military targets and infrastructure in the Mashkay region of Awaran and the Wadh area of Khuzdar.
According to BLF spokesperson Major Gwahram Baloch, the operations began on June 21 at around 7:00 PM, when BLF fighters launched simultaneous assaults on Pakistani military checkpoints in the Ogar and Tank areas of Mashkay. At the Tank post, a soldier standing guard was reportedly killed by a sniper.
In a separate engagement in Ogar the same evening, BLF fighters ambushed six soldiers who were patrolling fields near their camp. Using LMGs and modern weaponry, the fighters inflicted casualties at close range and safely withdrew to secure locations.
Also on June 21, a third attack took place in the Gazzi Kor area of Mashkay, where BLF fighters ambushed enemy forces, reportedly killing and injuring several personnel. The remaining soldiers were forced to retreat and take cover in nearby village homes.
On June 22, BLF fighters attacked a Ufone mobile tower in Meskay, destroying its solar panels and technical equipment by setting it on fire.
The final incident occurred on June 23 at 4:00 PM in the Kaka Heer area of Wadh, Khuzdar. BLF fighters targeted a vehicle reportedly transporting valuable mineral stones under state protection. The vehicle sustained damage in the attack, but the driver was unharmed.
The Balochistan Liberation Front stated that all these operations are part of its ongoing armed struggle and reaffirmed its commitment to resist what it calls the occupation of Balochistan.
