BLA Claims Responsibility for Road Blockades and Attacks on Pakistani Forces

Balochistan: The spokesperson for the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), Jeeyand Baloch has issued a statement to the media claiming responsibility for two separate operations carried out by BLA fighters in Bolan and Jaffarabad.

According to the statement, BLA fighters blocked the highway in the Margat area of Bolan on the evening of June 10, beginning at 6 PM. The roadblock continued for over two hours, during which the fighters conducted vehicle checks. A suspicious individual was taken into custody but later released after verification.

The spokesperson added that the occupying Pakistani forces attempted to monitor the fighters’ activities using a quadcopter drone, which was successfully targeted and destroyed by the BLA fighters. Despite the provocation, the Pakistani troops reportedly remained confined to their camp and did not confront the fighters.

In a separate operation the same night around 10 PM, BLA fighters attacked a police checkpoint at Qaidy Shakh in Shafiabad, Jaffarabad district, with a hand grenade. The attack resulted in both personnel casualties and material losses.

Jeeyand Baloch concluded the statement by reaffirming that the Baloch Liberation Army claims responsibility for both operations.
